お正月三が日も過ぎ、お父さんたちが仕事場へ向かう頃。教室には4歳の元気なお友だちどうしが遊びに来てくれました。
お気に入りのエプロンを身につけたら、うどん職人への変身完了です。粉と水を混ぜて作った生地をビニールシートに包み、二人で並んで足踏みを開始。小さな足にしっかりと体重をのせて、交互にリズムよく生地を鍛えていきます。自分の足の裏で生地が形を変えていく不思議な感触を楽しみながら、最後まで力いっぱい取り組んでくれました。自分たちで一から踏み上げたうどんは、きっと忘れられない特別な味になったはずです。
The New Year holidays have passed, and as many fathers return to work, two energetic 4-year-old friends joined our class to make udon together.
After putting on their favorite aprons, they were ready to become little udon chefs. They placed the dough, made from flour and water, inside plastic sheets and began stepping on it. Balancing their weight on their small feet, they took turns rhythmically strengthening the dough. It was wonderful to see them enjoying the unique sensation of the dough changing shape under their feet as they worked hard until the end. The udon they made with their own effort surely tasted like a special achievement.
