How is pricing calculated?

Our class is priced per team, not per person. A team is one working unit sharing one bowl and one rolling pin — you make the udon together.
The price doesn&#8217;t change with headcount: the one-team plan making 4 servings is 10,000 JPY whether 3 or 4 people come, so the more people, the lower the cost per person.
There are 5 plans, from 8,000 to 18,000 JPY. Enter your group size in the booking form and it suggests a recommended plan and price automatically.
Note: the eat-here option is 700 JPY per person, charged separately.

What is a "2-team setup"?

Accepted Answer

You split across two facing tables and each team makes udon separately, with its own bowl, rolling pin and knife (two full sets).
It&#8217;s handy when, say, two children would otherwise compete over turns, or two families come together.
There are three 2-team setup plans with different serving combinations; two or more adults are required.
Note that 2-team setup tables are limited. If two separate 2-team setup bookings fall in the same session (four teams total), another booking may sit between you, and you might not be seated side by side.

The booking form showed a "recommended plan." Can I change it?

Yes. When you enter your group size, the form suggests one recommended plan.

Are there any costs beyond the class fee and the eat-here option?

Generally no. Extras apply only if you choose them — for example renting an apron, or buying take-home noodles.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation fees apply to your booked total (including options):

Same-day cancellation: 100%
Day-before cancellation: 50%

Note: a no-show is also charged as a same-day cancellation (100%).
For private bookings of 3 or more teams: 100% within 1 week, 50% within 2 weeks.
Depending on the date, we may have turned other guests away, so if it becomes hard to come, please let us know as early as possible.
