Booking, Hours & Payment

Are you closed on any days?

We’re closed every Monday, and usually for the first three days of January. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are generally open.

During and around Osaka municipal elementary-school long breaks (summer, spring, etc.), our days off are irregular — we may open on a Monday or close on a weekend.

What times are the classes?

Generally three a day:

  • Morning: starts 10:00
  • Afternoon: starts 14:00
  • Evening: starts 17:00

Please arrive 10 minutes before each start time.

Where can I book?

The best way is to book on our website. Same-day booking is fine, but a reservation is always required — we accept bookings up to 2 hours before the start time.

Booking by phone or through Jalan is also possible.

What payment methods can I use?

Cash, major credit cards, QR-code payments, e-money, and transit IC cards (except PiTaPa).

A few payment methods can’t be used — thank you for understanding.

How do I cancel?

If you booked on our website, your confirmation email contains a cancellation URL with the details you’ll need. You can also cancel by phone.

Depending on the date, we may have turned other guests away, so if your plans change, please cancel as early as possible.

Can I join a waiting list?

Yes — please apply via the waiting-list form on our website.

  • We can’t tell you your place in the queue.
  • We won’t contact you if no cancellation comes up.

If a spot opens, we’ll reach you by phone, email or text (phone only between 8:00 and 21:00). Please reply within 12 hours of our message if your desired date is 2 or more days away, or within 3 hours from the day before onward. If we don’t hear back in time, we move to the next person.

I booked by phone instead of online — anything I should know?

Some things we’d send by email may not come across by phone, so please note:

Arrival — settle payment and any prep (like aprons) beforehand; arrival time is 10 minutes before the class starts.

What to wear / bring — wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty with flour; you’ll remove your shoes and change into slippers. Three optional, non-essential items: socks (for stomping the dough through a plastic bag), apron (rental 100 JPY), ice pack / cooler bag (for taking udon home; set 400 JPY).

Eat-here option — if you haven’t decided whether to eat here, it helps to decide and tell us in advance. You can eat half and take the rest home. The fee is by the number of place settings prepared, not how much you eat — 700 JPY per person (e.g., boil 2 servings but set places for 4 → 700 × 4 = 2,800 JPY).

Name for the certificate — we give a Certificate of Completion after the class; if you send us names in advance we can prepare them ahead (one per name).
