Q&A: I booked by phone instead of online — anything I should know?

Some things we’d send by email may not come across by phone, so please note:

Arrival — settle payment and any prep (like aprons) beforehand; arrival time is 10 minutes before the class starts.

What to wear / bring — wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty with flour; you’ll remove your shoes and change into slippers. Three optional, non-essential items: socks (for stomping the dough through a plastic bag), apron (rental 100 JPY), ice pack / cooler bag (for taking udon home; set 400 JPY).

Eat-here option — if you haven’t decided whether to eat here, it helps to decide and tell us in advance. You can eat half and take the rest home. The fee is by the number of place settings prepared, not how much you eat — 700 JPY per person (e.g., boil 2 servings but set places for 4 → 700 × 4 = 2,800 JPY).

Name for the certificate — we give a Certificate of Completion after the class; if you send us names in advance we can prepare them ahead (one per name).
